1. Purpose
Core Competency Institute is committed to providing transparent and fair refund and cancellation processes while protecting the resources, intellectual property, and commitments required to deliver professional services. This policy applies to CCI training programmes, masterclasses, digital products, subscriptions, diagnostic services, and consulting engagements.
2. Training Programmes and Events
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Where cancellation is received more than fourteen (14) calendar days before an event, CCI may provide a refund less reasonable administration costs. Where cancellation occurs between seven (7) and fourteen (14) calendar days before an event, CCI may provide a partial refund at its discretion. Where cancellation occurs less than seven (7) calendar days before an event, refunds may not be provided due to costs already committed, including venue arrangements, technology costs, facilitator fees, and administration.
3. Digital Products and Subscription Services
Due to the nature of digital services, including CCI Compass subscriptions, online resources, and digital learning products, refunds may be limited once access has been granted. Subscription cancellations will take effect from the next billing cycle unless otherwise agreed.Fees relating to services already accessed, consumed, or delivered are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
4. Consulting Services
Consulting engagements are governed by signed agreements, proposals, and statements of work. Where cancellation occurs after commencement, clients remain liable for completed work, allocated resources, committed costs, and services delivered by CCI.
5. Diagnostic Services
Once a CCI diagnostic assessment has commenced, fees may not be refundable due to the personalised nature of assessment administration, analysis, and reporting. CCI does not provide refunds based on dissatisfaction with assessment outcomes or interpretations where services have been delivered according to agreed terms.
6. Cancellation by CCI
CCI reserves the right to postpone or cancel services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Where CCI cancels a service, clients may be offered a transfer, alternative service date, or applicable refund.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within thirty (30) business days and returned using the original payment method where possible.Refunds may exclude reasonable transaction fees, administrative costs, or third-party charges where permitted by law.
